By accessing or using ALERAiQ ("Service" "App" "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Definitions

• "Service": ALERAiQ web application, mobile app, and all associated services
• "User," "You," "Your": Individual or entity using the Service
• "We," "Us," "Our": ALERAiQ Inc. and its affiliates
• "Content": Text, images, data, and information provided by users
• "Premium": Paid subscription tier with additional features

Eligibility

You must be:

• At least 13 years old (16 in European Union)
• Capable of forming a binding contract
• Not barred from using the Service under applicable law

If you are under 18, you represent that your parent/guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

Account Registration

Creating an Account

1. Provide accurate, current, and complete information
2. Maintain the security of your password
3. Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
4. You are responsible for all activities under your account

Account Security

• Use a strong, unique password
• Enable two-factor authentication (recommended)
• Do not share your account credentials
• We are not liable for losses due to unauthorized access caused by your failure to secure your account

Use of Service

Prohibited Uses

You may NOT:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Post spam, advertising, or promotional content
• Scrape, crawl, or automatically collect data
• Reverse engineer or decompile the Service
• Use the Service for illegal or harmful purposes
• Create multiple accounts to abuse free tier

Medical Disclaimer

Content & Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (meal photos, posts, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us:

• License: Worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and process your content to provide the Service
• Purpose: Process images for AI analysis, display in your account, show in community if you share
• Duration: While your account is active and for 30 days after deletion (for backups)

Our Content

All Service content, features, and functionality are owned by ALERAiQ™:

• Trademarks: "ALERAiQ™," logo, and branding
• Software: Code, algorithms, AI models
• Design: UI, graphics, layouts
• Content: Blog posts, educational materials

You may not use our intellectual property without written permission.

Disclaimers

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

Our total liability to you is limited to the amount paid in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater.
